Hi Everyone,

380/382 will hold an NAPUS Area Meeting at Neil"s BBQ, located at 470 Mall Blvd., Dyersburg TN on Thursday, December 3, 2009 at 6:30 P M. I do not have an average cost since we will be ordering off of the menu.

Pat Poff, Retail Specialist is scheduled to attend and cover the conversation from IRT to eMoves. Dana McBride, Postmaster of Samburg will give a brief presentation on eMoves and what postmaster can expect once going on to eMoves. Along with the necessary forms will be needed prior to the conversation which is expected to begin in December.

Please let Jimmy Brewer or myself know by Wednesday, December 2, if you will be able to attend the meeting. I hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving.

Hi Everyone,

It is not too late to register for our Fall Convention, which will be held at the Paris Landing State park the weekend of October 24 through October 26th. The registration form is available at our website www.tnnapus.org. I do not have a copy of the agenda yet. When I receive it I will forward it too you.

It's important West Tennessee Postmasters show up for the Fall Convention. Some feel the Fall Convention needs to be abolished and rotated with the Mid-Winter. This would mean State NAPUS meeting in West Tennessee every other year. Plus this would not be good for the Tennessee Chapter and could hurt membership.

Everyday we inherit new responsibilities as postmasters and are never properly trained to carry out these new responsibilities. The training offered at these meetings is excellent and actually facilitated by an individual not a DVD. Please make plans to attend and support the Fall Convention. If you cannot attend the entire weekend. Try to attend the General Business session on Monday.

The 380 Area Meeting scheduled to be held next Thursday, October 15 in Dyersburg has been canceled. The Area meeting will be rescheduled for early November. As always, I am here if you need me.

The 380 NAPUS Area Meeting will be held, Tuesday, September 1 at 6:30 P.M. at Vinegar Jim's in Arlington. Please contact me by Monday, August 31 if you plan on attending. I will be sending a agenda out tomorrow for the meeting.

Hi everyone!

Well it’s that time of year again. Budget time! Saying that 380 will have an Area Meeting on Monday, August 31 at 6:30 P.M. I am still searching for a location and am taking volunteers. The location I was going to use in Arlington is closed on Mondays. We have a lot to talk about regarding budget and issues we face in 2010. We could have a guest speaker from the District. I am still working on getting someone.

A reminder will be sent out next week with the location of the meeting. Until then if you need anything or have an issue you want addressed. Please feel free to contact me.

Hi everyone!

We have a location for our June 23rd, TN NAPUS 380 Area meeting. The meeting will be held at the Brownsville Family Restaurant located at 22 E. Main Street Brownsville TN. Cost is only $10 per person, which includes the buffet, drink and dessert. We will begin at 6:30 P.M. so we may finish in time for those who have to drive further than others. Danny will be at the meeting.

Ironically our meeting will take place two days before my Labor Management Meeting with Ms. Chambers in Nashville on June 25th. Any problems or issues you would like addressed, please give them to me at the meeting or email them to me here at home.

You will receive written notification about the meeting in a couple of days. If you will be attending the meeting please call me on my cell 901/831-0142 or email me here at home.

Greeting everyone! If you read your Tennessee NAPUS Update you all know by now I am the new Area VP for 380. Saying that it is time to have an area meeting. What I plan on doing is rotating the meeting between six locations. Brownsville, Dyersburg and either Collierville, Germantown or Arlington. Our first meeting will be in Brownsville on Tuesday, June 23 at 6:30 P.M. At that time I will share the latest with you and there is a lot to share and a lot going own. Please mark your calendars and make plans to attend this meeting. I have spoken with Danny and he plans to be at the meeting as well. Tuesday I will email you with the location of our meeting.

One last request. If you have a home email address you like to receive 380 Tennessee NAPUS Update. Please send it to me. Effective June 30, I will no longer send NAPUS information to usps.gov email addresses.
